Sometimes projects are just too small for us to handle, but it never hurts to ask! Emily at Wedgwood Dental Center had some new conduit installed at her office and for whatever reason it had to run right through her lovely signage. The shiny pipe detracted from an otherwise clean look. So she reached out to us, knowing full well that it's a project that is a bit small for your average painting company. Frankly, it was a bit small, but coincidentally, we were able to squeeze it in. It took our man Rene a day to get the job done, but he did it the right way. With new pipes like that you want to make sure to degrease them before applying any coating. So that's what Rene did – he wiped down the pipe with a little bit of lacquer thinner followed by a quick rinse with water. Then he applied Benjamin Moore's Universal Metal Primer (PO4) with a nice dark tint in it to help with coverage. When dry, Rene proceeded to apply a top coat of Ben Moore's Direct to Metal (DTM) Low Lustre. The effect? The pipe doesn't stick out like a sore thumb anymore.
At the end of the day, the point is that whether the job is big or small, call JSPC and we'll take a look. If nothing else, we'll consult you on what's best for the project; who knows, maybe we'll be able to work something out! We did for Emily!
