Ballard Duplex SuperPaint(R) Review

JS Painting Company painted this duplex in beautiful Ballard! We used Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint® Satin Exterior Latex to update this look. JS Painting Company refreshed the paint and added a clean looking trim accent to match the brown aluminum window updates. We used a satin paint to offer greater durability and washability. The prep was pretty extensive because the house had a significant amount of bubbling and peeling. It also had a little bit of odd carpentry that we had to work with. So some extra caulking and smoothing was important. We also used the HAMMERITE® RUST CAP® rattle can to touch up the handrails and seal off any rust. HAMMERITE® RUST CAP® is a pretty usable product that any homeowner could use to touch up their entryway. Anyways, SuperPaint® is a really solid paint. Great for its price point. Provided that the prep is good and the application is adequate, SuperPaint® is going to get you longevity comparable to just about anything out there. You're NOT getting the self priming, or super high build, or the extreme temperature application, but you're getting everything necessary. In our estimation, it's just a great standard paint - not low budget or super premium.
